WARNING ! Always ensure that the sleeve snaps into place
after adjusting the handle in one of the end positions! Never
adjust to an intermediate position!
Tilt adjustment
Adjust the angle of the trimmer head 14 to fi t the ground conditions.
Press the unlock button 9 and hold it in position.
Move the pole 8 slightly up or downward.
Release the unlock button 9 and keep moving the pole 8 until it locks in place.
WARNING! Always ensure that the unlock button snaps into
place after adjusting the trimmer in one of the three indicated
positions! Never adjust to an intermediate position!

CAUTION ! Always wear safety glasses. Wear a fi lter mask if
the operation is dusty. Use of proper gloves and substantial
footwear is also recommended.
• Check the product, its battery pack and charger as well as accessories for damage before
each use. Do not use the product if it is damaged or shows wear.
• Double check that the accessories and attachments are properly fi xed.
• Always hold the product on its handle. Keep the handle dry to ensure safe support.
• Ensure that the air vents are always unobstructed and clear. Clean them if necessary
with a soft brush. Blocked air vents may lead to overheating and damage the product.
• Switch the product off immediately if you are disturbed while working by other people
entering the working area. Always let the product come to complete stop before putting
it down.
• Do not overwork yourself. Take regular breaks to ensure you can concentrate on the
work and have full control over the product.
• Before switching the product on, check whether it has been assembled correctly and all
the moving parts are running smoothly.
• We recommend slightly dampening surfaces in dusty conditions or using a mister
attachment.
• Operate the product only at reasonable hours – not early in the morning or late at night
when people might be disturbed.
• Avoid using the product in bad weather conditions, especially when there is a risk of
lightning. Do not operate the product in poor lighting. The operator requires a clear view
of the work area to identify potential hazards.
