Power Connection
Verify that the rated voltage of the de-
vice corresponds to the local network. A
wrong setting of voltage parameters can
damage the hood. Before proceeding
with installation make sure that all ca-
bles are in good condition and not dam-
aged. Pay particular attention to any
creases on the cables and verify that
they are not pulled too close to the
windings around corners or that there
are no objects placed on the cables.
Also, make sure that you have fixed all
fittings.
Defective shielding or wiring endanger
your health (electric shock risk) and
may damage other devices. Devices
with plugs are supplied with power ca-
ble tested in the country of installation
and related exclusively to outlets with
grounded receptacle, to avoid electrical
shock. Ensure that the grounded plugs
and cables are easily accessible so as
to enable disconnection of the hood in
case of emergency or for maintenance.
Electric shock risk!
Do not clean the hood with steam clean-
ers or high-pressure washers. Always
disconnect the hood from the power
supply before cleaning.
Transportation Precautions
During transport, ensure that the hood
cannot touch objects that could damage
it.
Danger to the physical safety
During transport keep away from the
hood. Make sure that other people
(especially children) are not in the vicin-
ity of the hood: there is a danger of seri-
ous crush injuries. The hood cannot be
used by physically, mentally or sensori-
ally impaired persons, lacking experi-
ence or technical skills (including chil-
dren). Children must always be kept
under control, so as to ensure that they
are not playing with the device. The
hood is also equipped with an electronic
safety circuit, which guarantees a high
resistance capacity during transport.
Performance
The hood can look different from the
one shown in the images of these in-
structions, but the instructions for use,
maintenance, cleaning and installation
are exactly the same as shown here.
