must be so arranged as to allow a smooth connection to the hood. The discharge
hose must not be bent. If the hood is operated in aspiration mode at the same time as
other fuel-powered aspiration devices (e.g. devices fueled by wood, gas or coal), le-
thal combustion fumes may be developed because of depression established in the
environment. It is therefore that the installer always ensures the proper air circula-
tion. The level of depression in the room must not exceed 4 Pa (0.04 mbar). In ver-
sion B, the length of the discharge channel must not exceed 5 m.
Solid fuels stove
For installation of the hood above a stove fueled by solid fuel there is a danger of fire
(e.g. escape of sparks): The installation of the hood is only possible if the stove has a
fixed and not removable cover.
Minimum distance from hob
The optimal level of aspiration is achieved by placing the hood at a minimum height of
400mm above the hob, measuring from the top edge of the hood. This distance of
400mm is recommended also for gas cookers. To avoid condensation a flap gate
must be installed directly on the external air vent. In the case of gas cookers, you
must observe the indications and installation instructions given by the manufacturer of
the appliance. The installation of the hood above gas hobs is only possible if the hood
is mounted at a minimum height of 400mm from the hob and if the following parame-
ters of the net heat input are not exceeded:
Gas stoves
Single flame input
All flames input
Oven input
Gas hobs
Single flame input
All flames input
In induction versions C whirlwinds may occur!
Before shipment, our hoods are subjected to a thorough quality control, aimed at test-
ing their perfect operation. The images in the instructions for use and installation may
differ slightly from the model provided or present options not provided.
