5. PREPARATION FOR ASSEMBLY

Transportation, unpacking, placement
If the device is transported from a cold environment to a place where it will be in-
stalled, condensation can occur. Wait until the device has reached the same tem-
perature as the environment and until it is completely dry before putting it into ser-
vice. The times of acclimatization depend on temperature range, on the device and
on the structure of the same. In any case, it can never be less than 12 hours.
During assembly, wear protective gloves to avoid any risk of injury. Before installing
the hood, prepare the necessary tools.
To ensure proper installation of the hood it is necessary to prepare adequately the
environment, covering all the kitchen appliances. Prepare a hole in the ceiling, suit-
able to the hood exhaust pipe, prepare holes, etc.
