Inspect for missing hardware.

SLINGS AND HARDWARE

THE ELECTRIC ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY

Check for leakage.
q
Inspect hardware on mast, boom and base.
q
Check for wear or deterioration. If damaged, return to
factory.

Cycle to ensure smooth quiet operation of the electric
actuator.

Check all hardware and attachment points.

Inspect for bends or deflections.

Inspect bolted joints of the lift arms for wear.

Mast must be securely assembled to lift arms.

Whenever necessary.

8.2 Cleaning the Sling and the Lift

WARNING!
– After EACH laundering (in accordance with laundering
instructions on the sling), inspect the sling for wear,
tears and loose stitching. Discard any patient sling that
meets these criteria IMMEDIATELY.
Cleaning the Sling
The sling should be washed regularly in water temperature not
exceeding 203°F (95°C) and a biological solution. Refer to the
washing instructions in the sling user manual.
