Fastening the socket adapter
► Use the 501S41=M6x16 screws to mount the socket adapter on the slid
ing adapter.
Required materials: 710D4 torque wrench, 636K13 Loctite 241
>
1) If the pyramid receiver or the pyramid adapter is rotatable: Place
the pressure plate on the adapter.
2) Place the adapter on the connecting component.
3) Optional: Align the pyramid receiver or the pyramid adapter.
4) Secure the screws with Loctite.
5) Screw in the 2 posterior countersunk head screws and tighten them
(tightening torque: 12 Nm).
6) Screw in the 2 anterior countersunk head screws and tighten them
(tightening torque: 12 Nm).
5.2 Adjusting adapter
The upper part and lower part of the sliding adapter can slide against each
other on the cross support. They can slide independently of each other in
the frontal plane and the sagittal plane.
Sliding for trial fitting
Required materials: 4 mm Allen wrench, 2 mm Allen wrench
>
1) Loosen the centre screw 1 to 1.5 turns (see fig. 1).
2) Loosen the clamping screws for the desired sliding direction (posterior =
frontal plane, medial or lateral = sagittal plane) (see fig. 2, see fig. 3).
3) Perform the displacement. The displacement paths can be read off the
scales of the adapter.
4) Tighten the clamping screws.
Extended trial fitting or permanent use
Required materials: 710D4 torque wrench
>
1) Tighten all clamping screws (see fig. 2, see fig. 3).
2) Tighten the centre screw (tightening torque: 7 Nm)(see fig. 1).
6 Cleaning
1) Clean the product with a damp, soft cloth.
2) Dry the product with a soft cloth.
3) Allow to air dry in order to remove residual moisture.
7 Maintenance
► A visual inspection and functional test of the prosthetic components
should be performed after the first 30 days of use.
