5.3.1 Using the Bead Pusher and Bead
Breaker Disc during mounting
During the mounting tasks the operator can make use
of the Bead Pusher tool and the Bead Breaker Disc,
so as to limit manual work.
Example of use of above-cited elements for certain
tasks.

• Position the roller 1and the bead pusher tool 2 as
illustrated in the diagram.

Lower the bead pusher so that the pressure of the
disc and the Bead Pusher tool on the tire help keeps
the bead in the drop center.
The Bead Pusher tool follows the tire rotation during
the mounting operation.
WARNING: INTERRUPT ROTATION AND/OR LIFT
THE BEAD PUSHER FROM THE TIRE BEFORE IT
COMES INTO CONTACT WITH THE FIXED PARTS
IN ITS RANGE OF ACTION.
When the task has been completed bring the Disc
and the presser tool into the resting position.
The following accessories can be of further assistance
when mounting the tyre;
Magic Bead Pusher,
helps keep a wide section of tyre beaded. Its
complete insertion can be performed by stopping
the rotation by the number of times as the number
of pressing blocks to be inserted between the tyre
and the rim, (Figure 5.3-6).
Rim Protection + String, this accessory can be applied
to the rim to avoid damaged due to contact or
rubbing. More than one accessory can be used at
the same time.
