Operating Instructions for SATA RCS

■ Set function switch [3-17] from "Clean" to "Dry".
■ Press and hold down "Dry" pushbutton [3-2].
■ Dry paint spray gun under blow-dry nozzle [1-4] / [2-4] / [3-5] around
paint channel and around the outside. Pull the trigger on the paint
spray gun briefly several times during the drying process.
10.3. Adjusting the pressure regulators for the cleaning
agent quantity and air volume (SATA clean RCS the turbo
cleaner only)
Information!
The pressure regulators are preset and adjusted at the factory and
should not be readjusted. If adjusted incorrectly, cleaning agent could
spray out of the device.
Adjust the quantity of cleaning agent and the air volume by turning the
adjusting nuts [7-2] / [7-3]. The air volume must always be kept as low
as possible.
■ Adjust the quantity of cleaning agent by turning the adjusting nut [7-2]
during the cleaning process. Turning it to the left reduces the quantity.
Turning it to the right increases it.
■ Adjust the air volume by turning the adjusting nut [7-3] during the clean-
ing process. Turning it to the left reduces the volume. Turning it to the
right increases it.
11. Maintenance and Repair
11.1. Replacing the cleaning brush
■ Depressurize and bleed the SATA clean RCS units.
■ Loosen grub screw [9-1] in mount [9-5].
■ Remove cleaning brush [9-2].
■ Insert new cleaning brush into mount up to the stop.
■ Manually tighten grub screw.
11.2. Replacing the splash guard
■ Depressurize and bleed the SATA clean RCS units.
■ Remove mounting rivet [9-3] from mount [9-5].
■ Remove old splash guard [9-4].
■ Install new slash guard along with mounting rivet in correct position.
11.3. Removing the control module
Depending on the SATA clean RCS (compact / turbo cleaner) variants, the
428
