Additional Information on the Electronic
Pressure Gauge
The electronic pressure gauge has passed a design examination. It has
been developed, constructed and manufactured in accordance with the
EC directive 94/9 EU. It has been classified accordingto II 2 G Ex ia IIC
T4 FM Global IS CL I, ZN 1, AEx ia IIC T4 IS CL I, DIV 1, GP A, B, C&D,
T4 and may be used and stored in the explosive zones 1 and 2 up to
60°C ambient temperature. Inspection authority: KEMA 05 ATEX 1090 X.
The following applications and operations lead to the loss of
the explosion protection and are, therefore, prohibited:
• Battery replacement in explosive areas!
• Removal of the front cover of the pressure display!
• Installation of a battery other than the CR 1632 Renata!
When exchanging the battery, it is recommended to also replace the
sealing of the battery compartment!
7.
Use
• Use only solvent-resistant, antistatic, undamaged and technically flaw-
less compressed air hoses with a permanent pressure resistance of
minimum 10 bar, e.g. Art. No. 53090!
The following requirements must be fulfilled:
• Use a compressed air connection G 1/4 a or a fitting SATA connection
nipple.
• Ensure minimum compressed air volume (air consumption) and pres-
sure (recommended spray gun inlet pressure) according to chapter 2.
• Use clean compressed air, e.g. by installing the SATA filter 484, Art.
No. 92320
