Device displays session time as time of use
since last reset. Total time of device use can't
be reset. Session time can be reset.

CEFAR TENS can be set on Constant Current or Constant Voltage mode
Press "up and down" to select appropriate mode. "oK" to confirm and
back in Physician home screen
CC - Constant current: This mode guarantees optimal stimulation
without variation of amplitude by automatically adapting the voltage
when resistance varies during the stimulation. The resistance may vary
depending on tissue impedance, or electrodes contact quality. The CC
mode is recommended by default.
CV - Constant Voltage available only on 1 channel: This mode adapts
automatically the amplitude when the resistance varies, allowing more
comfortable stimulation if the patient loses electrode surface contact or
takes electrodes the electrodes in their fingers while stimulation is on.
CV mode is recommended to be used when moving electrodes from place
to place or when the patient does not feel comfortable managing the device.

Acupuncture mode can only be used by trained medical professionals. Other people should not use this
mode. Medical professional must constantly be with the patient while giving the treatment.

The Acupuncture Electrical stimulation can only be applied by authorized medical professionals using
dedicated electrical acupuncture needles. When Acupuncture mode is selected the "Acupuncture" icon is
displayed on the treatment screen. Using Acupuncture mode the amplitude can be set from 0,1mA steps.
Be careful when stimulating patients with a nickel allergy.
Note that significant effects can be obtained with electrical acupuncture-overstimulation may entail
worsening of the patient pain and general condition. When stimulating at less than 10 mA in acupuncture
mode, the stimulator doesn't register that the circuit is broken – which means that the current is not
disconnected even if one of the clamps comes loose. Always make sure that the amplitude is turned off
before connecting the clamps.
