2.2 Function
The Protective Cover provides a means of enclosing the Genium electronic knee joint, including
the tube adapter, to enhance its appearance and function. The housing of the knee joint is protec­
ted against external influences by the Protective Cover, e.g. scratching and surface contamina­
tion. The Protective Cover is not required for the proper and safe functioning of the joint.

necting the Protective Cover.
The connection plate is compatible with cuff sizes S and M. Cuff size M is equivalent to foot size
29 for the Meridium.
