Opposition Power Grip
The opening width makes it possible to hold cylindrical objects with large
diameters and with an open thumb position.
Tripod Pinch
Together with the index finger and the middle finger, the thumb forms a
three-point support; small objects can then be securely fixated with the
thumb in closed position.
Finger Abduction/Adduction
If the fingers are spread several flat, thin objects (>2 mm) can be held
between the fingertips when the hand is closed.
