3.3 Reasonably foreseeable misuse
The operation of MaxiFil in industrial areas, which do not comply the requirements for
explosion protection, is not permissible. Furthermore, the operation is prohibited for:
Procedures not listed in the intended use and during which the aspirated air:

with liquids and resultant contamination of the air flow is offset with aerosol

and oily vapours
is mixed with flammable, combustible dusts and/or substances which may

form explosive mixtures or atmospheres;
is offset with other aggressive or abrasive dusts which damage

the MaxiFil and the filter elements used;
is mixed with organic, toxic substances or a proportion of substances which

are released when cutting the material.
- Waste materials, such as filter element and extracted particles, may contain
harmful substances. They may not be disposed of in household waste -
environmentally friendly disposal is necessary;
- Filter elements – Third party filters by other manufacturers which were not
approved as a spare part by Kemper GmbH may not be used due to unknown
effects on the filter result;
- Exterior locations in which the filter unit is exposed to weather - the filter device
may only be used in enclosed buildings;
- Lifting machinery, such as forklifts, manual lifting devices which are unsuitable to
transport the filter unit; check max. load capacity during selection.
No reasonable, foreseeable misuse is possible which could lead to dangerous
situations with personal injury when working with the MaxiFil whilst adhering to its
intended use.
