Sharpening and replacement of
the counter cutting blades
A good performance of the shredder usually
depends on how sharp blades are.
Repeat the procedures of item "Access to
 
blades and hammers";
Turn the disk until the blade bolts are
 
accessible;
Loosen the screws and nuts (C) and remove
 
the counter cutting blade (D);
Rotate the counter cutting blade 180º to use
 
the intact cutting edge;
Replace the screws, nuts and washers,
 
tighten with torque wrench according to
table "Tighten torque specifications";
If they are entirely worn or damaged, replace
them. Get in touch with the TRAPP nearest
Technical Assistance.

Attention!
Do not replace just part of the set of blades.
Always replace the whole set for rotor
balance and to prevent vibration.
Blade Sharpening and
replacement (TRR 180/190)
Loosen the screws (3) and remove
 
the blade (4);
Sharpen and reposition the screws and
 
tighten with a torque wrench according to
table "Tighten torque specifications ";
Repeat the procedures for the remaining
 
blades.
Sharpening and replacement of
hammers (TRR 180/190)
Loosen the fixing screw (1) and remove the
 
disc (2);
Loosen the screws (5), remove the bolt (6)
 
and remove the hammer (7);
Sharpen and replace the screws, washers
 
and spacers, tighten with a torque wrench
according to table " Tighten torque
specification".
