3 | Safety

3.1 | Intended use

With the purchase of the DELO AGM motorcycle battery with acid
pack, you have chosen a high-quality product for your vehicle.
The battery that you have purchased is an AGM battery incl. acid
pack with the highest requirements of the materials used. The
battery distinguishes itself thanks to its very high starter power
and large reserves of power with which to optimally supply your
motorcycle. The battery is not a toy. Use the DELO AGM battery
only as described in these instructions. Any other use is considered
improper use and may result in material damage. Neither the
manufacturer nor the supplier accept liability for damage caused
by improper or incorrect use.

3.2 | Safety instructions

WARNING!

Improper handling of the battery increases the risk

• Never expose the motorcycle battery to
severe heat such as naked flames or similar
phenomena.
• Keep it away from very hot surfaces, such as
exhausts.
• Do not use the battery in an explosive
atmosphere or in the proximity of highly
flammable liquids, gases or dust.
• Avoid strong mechanical influences on the
battery.
• Do not overcharge the battery, and be sure to use
suitable chargers.
• Cannot be jump-started, e.g. bridging car to
motorcycle.
WARNING!
Danger for children and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental abilities (e.g.
partially disabled persons, elderly persons with
reduced physical and mental abilities) or lack of
experience and knowledge (e.g. older children)!
• Store the battery away from children.
• Maintenance may not be carried out by children.
• Keep small parts and packaging film away from
children, as there is a danger of suffocation.
