NOTICE
Exposure of the product to unsuitable environmental conditions
Damage, brittleness or destruction due to improper handling
► Avoid storage in condensing ambient humidity.
► Avoid contact with abrasive substances (e.g. sand, dust).
► Do not expose the product to temperatures below -10 °C or above
+60 °C (e.g. sauna, excessive sunlight, drying on a radiator).
► Inform the patient.
NOTICE
Contact with saltwater or water containing chlorine/soap, fresh
water or abrasive substances (e. g. sand)
Damage and premature product wear
► Following any contact with the substances identified above, promptly
clean the product in accordance with the chapter "Cleaning".
► Inform the patient.
5 Installation
INFORMATION
The system ankle joint is adapted to the needs of the patient through the
individual combination of the ball (12), cylinder pins (2, 13) and compres­
sion spring (14) with the set screws (1).
1) Slide the bearing bushings (5) onto the system ankle joint (6).
2) Secure the foot stirrup (7) with the joint bolt (4), the joint nut with internal
thread (8) and the cap screw (3).
3) Install the ball (12), the cylinder pins (2, 13) and the compression
spring (14) with the set screws (1).
6 Processing
INFORMATION
► Check the exact parallel alignment of the system joints before deliver­
ing the orthosis.
► Instruct the patient in the handling and care of the product.
