6.2 ALARM OPERTION
6.2.1 MONITORING Alarm :
The monitoring alarm is triggered if one of the beams is cut off while the monitoring system is activated.
Triggering of the:
- Integrated siren with continuous, modulated tone at a high level (~100dBA)
- Remote control buzzer
- Exterior alarm sirens if fitted
- Monitoring LED with flashing that continues until the monitoring system is deactivated or
switched to Off mode using the key operated switch.
Note: In the event that the intrusion alarm sounds, all the sirens (internal or external) are activated for 1
min 30. It is possible to stop the alarms either by pressing one of the buttons on the remote control, or by
turning the key in the key-operated switch. Attention: in this last case, the system switched to all off
mode.
6.2.2 TECHNICAL FAILURE alarm:
The technical failure alarm is triggered in the event of:
- An internal system supply fault(other than a mains power failure)
- A battery charge fault
- Occultation of an infrared beacon(fog,frost,obstacle,etc) if the monitoring system is
activated
- A fault in the wiring links between elements
- A self-monitoring alarm for the sirens
Triggering of:
- The integrated siren generating 2 cyclical medium-level beeps (~80 DBA) repeated every 30 sec,
until the alarm is dealt with or the key-operated switch is set to OFF, with a repeat on the control
unit buzzer.
- Exterior failure alarm sirens, if fitted, using the same operating mode as the integrated siren.
