OPERATION

Each barrier is made up of 2 infrared beams, an upper beam and a lower beam. This enables it to detect
the passage of persons of various heights.
The monitoring alarm is triggered if one of the 2 beams is cut off.
Eaqch beacon is made up of 2 transmitter cells and 2 receiver cells. The transmitter cells of a beacon must
be aligned with the receiver cells of the adjacent beacon. Each pairing of a transmitter cell and a receiver
cell thus forms a detection beam.
The transmitter cells emit infrared impulses, the receiver cells analyse the infrared impulses received and
generate the monitoring alarm if one of the 2 beams is cut off.
