1 Indications for use
With the E-MAG Control, the 17B205=* Medial Support generally has to be
used starting from a patient weight of 55 kg. With the E-MAG Active, the me-
dial support does not have to be used up to a body weight of 85 kg (subject
to the restrictions on use in the 647G639 Installation and Service Manual).
Using the medial support is mandatory for a patient weight over 85 kg.
2 Delivery condition
The Medial Support is delivered with a dummy for assembly into the orthosis.
3 Assembly
The joint is integrated into the to-be-fabricated orthosis with a 605P8=*
Aluminum System Bar.
The dummy is used for assembly into the orthosis.
For trial fittings, the Medial Support can be fixed to the bars with screws.
Before the final delivery of the orthosis, the Medial Support must be glued
with the 636W28 Adhesive.
4 Service
The Medial Support should be serviced every 6 months along with the EMAG
System. The maintenance plan included with the Assembly and Service Ins-
tructions of the E-MAG Joint System can be used as a guideline.
