CONDENSATE DISCHARGE SYSTEM
Each
unit is
litted with either
a
timed
or
intelligent condensate discharge assembly.
The type
of
discharger fitted
to
the machine
is
agreed during the offer stage.
The timed condensale discharger
is
aulomatically controlled
by
the eleclronic board with which
it
is possible to
set
the condensate discharge intervals (S9
).
The intelligent condensate discharger features
an
eleclronic condensale level control system wilh
a
t\iro.level capacilive sensor.
The
elec-tronic
board
of
the discharger conlinuously
reads
the signal
sent
to
it by
the capacitive
sensor.
Vvhen
the
level of
condensate reaches the upper limit
ol
the
sensor,
the solenoid valve
is
energised
in
order to discharge the condensale.
\Men
the
level of
condensate reaches the lower
limit of
lhe
sensor,
the solenoid valve
is
de'energised
in
order
to
inlerrupt lhe discharge of crndensate

indicates
the
type
of
intelligent discharger inslalled on each model
of
dryer.

TIMED CONDENSATE
DTSCHARGER
The timed condensate discharger musl be carefully checked and
seMced
in order
lo
prevent the separated condensale
from
being drawn inlo the distribution system
by
the flo\fl
of
compressed
air.
11.1.1.
Filter

It
should therefore
be
deaned about
a
month afler installation.
Thereafter it should be cleaned once e\rery 3 months.
ln
some installations, even
more
frequent deaning may be required.
Depending
on
the type of machine, a normal mechanical filter or
a
Filterstop tap
with incorporated tilter
(see
figure on side) may
be
installed.

To
remove
the melal mesh [3] close the on/off valve
upline
from the dryer.

Filterstop lap,
just
close
the
tap.

Press
lhe manual condensate discharge button
lo
check
that lhe filler is
ncil
pressurised.

Press
the P1 main
s\,vitch
to disconnecl the
power supply
to the
dryer.

Carefully
unscrew the
lilter
cap
[1]
retaining
the
sealing gasket
[2]
and
remove the
filter mesh
[3].

Once cleaned, reinsert
the
mesh making sure
il
is
home
and
square and
tighten
cap [1].

Redace the sealing gasket
if it is
damaged.

After opening the on/off valve or
the
Filterstop tap, power
the
unit and starl
ir.
11.1.2.
Solenoid valve maintenance
The solenoid valve musl always be protecled
by an
appropriate tilter to prevent solid particles
preventing
it
from opening and dosing coneclly.
Horyever, il these particles manage to cross the filter and cause the valve
to
malfunc{ion,
all
its intemal components must be cleaned.
Procaed
as
follows:

isolate and depressurise the dryer;
.
press
the main snitch
to
tum off
porver
to the
dryer;

lhe
nut
fixing the
cap
for the valve
po,ver supply;

ln
up
and
remo\re
the
cap;
.
removelhe solenoid
valne
from the pip6
and
tightly
clamp
the body
in a vice;

unscrew
lhe nut

fixing the solenoid valve
[2]
and remove
it
from
the
ti+rod
[3]:

unscrewthetierod
from the valve seat:
.
check the condition of
the
O-ring seal [4] and of all other components and
dean
them
carefully;
.
rB.assemble
the crmponents by reversing the above procedures;

make
sure
that the valve is r+,inslalled with lhe arrow poinling
in
the
rigtrt
diredion.

11.2.
INTELLIGENTCONDENSATE DISCHARGER
The intelligent condensate discharger
is
supdied
packed
in a
cardboad
box located
at
the bottom
of
the machine and must
be
inslalled.
It ls
already wired and connecled
to
the macfiine
poruer unit and is
therefore
ready to
work.

startlng the machlne, lnstall the dlschaiger
as
shown

at
the
ond
of thls manual.
Before installing it, r€move the
pIotediw
cap from th6 lagged
dping
in
the
lovver part of
the
unit.
The discharger connec{ors are conlained in a nylon
bag
fixed
to
the lagged piping
of
tho condensate discharger.
The various oonnectoB should
be
assembled
using
dope and applying heal insulation.
