Difficulty in
starting the motor

Troubleshooting
Probable cause
1. Excess feeding. Due to this fact, the
motor does not manage to maintain
the rotation required and the product
accumulates inside the machine
(continuing with the use may burn
out the motor by overload).
2. Crushed coconut moisture or coconut
in state of decomposition.
1. I
nsufficient feeding of the machine.
2. Low rotation of the cutting assembly.
Improper blade sharpening or assembly.
1. Voltage drop in the electrical network.
2. Lack of fuel or poor quality fuel in the
gas engine.
3. Incorrect throttle lever position on the
gas engine.

Solution
1. Disconnect the equipment and wait
for the motor to stop. Open the
feeding funnel and clean the product
excess inside the machine, close the
feeding funnel, activate the motor,
wait for it to attain the maximum
rotation
and
restart
controlling the power supply of the
machine, so as not to demand more
than the motor capacity can handle.
2. Select the coconut before crushing
and control the feed in case of
coconut with high humidity or in
state of decomposition.
1. Control the feeding so that it is
continuous, but not in excess so as
not to cause bushing.
2. Check that the rotation is correct.
Sharpen the knives as indicated in item
Cutting blades maintenance (page 43) and
check the assembly sequence and correct if
necessary.
1. Check the conditions of the electrical
network (electrician).
2. Check for fuel in the tank and verify
that it is in good condition; check the
gas engine carburetor and clean the
bad gas before adding fuel.
3. Check the throttle lever position on
the gas engine.
