Drawing of hot water from the spout takes place automatically by pressing the key for the desired serving (the
amount of hot water is controlled automatically). the keypad has three keys. two are for the programmed
servings and one is for manual servings or to stop automatic serving at any time.

6.4 Cup heater (optional)

the cup heater is used to increase heating of the upper cup support surface (by means of an electrical he-
ating element). Use the appropriate switch to activate or de-activate the cup heater. the cup heater heating
element is equipped with a working thermostat that controls the temperature of the cup support surface.

7. characteristics of the toUch control panel

the 100 touch is equipped with touch controls; simply touch one of the keys for the chosen serving to be
dispensed.
In stand-by mode, all the coffee and hot water icons will be turned on; select one to begin dispensing: all the
icons of the unit, except for the key that has been touched, will be turned off. the LED of the touched key will
remain on steady and the LEDs around the keypad will be turned on, simulating the cup being filled.
As explained in the paragraph entitled technical programming, the machine can be programmed, if the user
so wishes, to display - during coffee dispensing - the number of seconds that have passed since dispensing
started, instead of the value of the temperature in the boiler.
At the top of the keypad, there is a red-blue arch to adjust the temperature in the boiler, as described below.
the minimum value at which the boiler can be programmed is displayed to the left of the temperature arch,
and the maximum value to the right.
the maximum and minimum values will be displayed above the temperature arch if they are expressed in °C,
and below it if they are expressed in °f. the minimum value will be 110° (230°f), the maximum value 128°C
(262°f).
Just below this arch, there is a display to inform the user of the current temperature inside the boiler. the
temperature value can be expressed either in °C (degrees Celsius) or in °f (degrees farenheit). the choice is
made by the user during programming, as described in the programming paragraph.
