ATTENZIONE: con il freno inserito la S 690 non esegue il lancio.
Applicati i contrappesi, eseguire un lancio di controllo.
Se a fine lancio i display non indicano zero ma presentano uno
squilibrio residuo NON APPLICARE UN SECONDO CONTRAPPE-
SO, ma procedere nel modo seguente:
A. Ruotando manualmente la ruota rilevare la posizione dello
squilibrio residuo.
B. Osservare la posizione in cui viene a trovarsi il contrappeso
precedentemente applicato e seguire le istruzioni della tavola
F, cioè:
-Se il contrappeso viene a trovarsi nella posizione 1 si-
gnifica che è troppo leggero, sostituirlo con un'altro più
pesante.
-Se il contrappeso viene a trovarsi nella posizione 2 si-
gnifica che è troppo pesante; sostituirlo con un altro
più leggero.
-Se il contrappeso viene a trovarsi nelle posizioni 3 o 4
significa che la sua posizione non è corretta, spostarlo
verso l'alto di circa 1-2 cm.

- Effettuare un ulteriore lancio di controllo.
SENSIBILITA' DI LETTURA
La S 690, equilibrando ruote di piccole e grandi dimensioni le cui
quantità di squilibrio sono spesso notevolmente diverse, dispone
di due scale di lettura a seconda che sia attiva la modalità "trk" o
la modalità "car".
All'accensione la S 690 è sempre predisposta per la lettura di 5
grammi in 5 grammi col programma "car" e di 50 grammi in 50
grammi se selezionato "trk" (led 10, Fig.C acceso). Se si desidera
esprimere i valori dello squilibrio grammo per grammo (se attiva
la modalità "car") o di 10 grammi in 10 grammi (se attiva la mo-
dalità "trk"), premere, al termine di un lancio, il tasto

Per ritornare alle precedenti sensibilità ripremere il tasto
N.B.: Analogamente, se l'equilibratrice è predisposta per la lettu-
ra in once, lo squilibrio può essere rilevato in quarti di once o de-
cimi di once (se attivo "car") e in once x 1 o mezze once (se attivo
"trk"), operando come sopra descritto per la lettura in grammi.
CORREZIONE AUTOMATICA
Se, dopo aver effettuato il lancio, ci si accorge di non aver
impostato correttamente una o più dimensioni fisiche della ruo-

spin to check your results.
If at the end of the spin the displays do not show ZERO but,
rather a residual unbalance, DO NOT USE ANOTHER WEIGHT,
but follow the instructions below:
A. Turn the wheel by hand and find the exact position of
the residual unbalance.
B. Look at the position of the previously applied weight and
follow instructions in Table F, namely:
- If the weight is in position 1, it means that it is too light.
Replace it with a heavier one.
- If the weight is in position 2, it means that it is too heavy.
Replace it with a lighter one.
- If the weight is in either 3 or 4, it means that it is improp-
erly positioned.
Just move it 1 or 2 cm. upwards.
- Spin the wheel and check the position again.
SENSITIVITY
The S 690 has to balance small and very large wheels and the
unbalance range can be quite considerable. To handle this, it
has two reading scales for its two operational modes: "trk" or
"car".
When the S 690 is switched on, its default setting is by 5 grams in
"car" and by 50 grams if in "trk" (LED 10, Fig. C lit).
If you want the unbalance gram by gram in "car" or 10 g by 10
g in "trk", at the end of a spin, press
