10. Pull the free suture tail with continuous force and a
smooth motion until both suture bridge legs lay flat
and tight against the tissue surface. It is normal to
encounter resistance while tightening the repair. A
probe or similar instrument may be used to assist
with tightening of the repair.
11. Use additional implant devices to stabilize the
meniscus as determined by the orthopedic
surgeon. Once implants are placed, use an
arthroscopic pusher/cutter to cut the free end of
the suture.
STORAGE
Store at controlled room temperature, up to 25°C
(77°F). Avoid excessive heat > 40°C (104°F). Do not
use after expiration date.
STERILIZATION
This product is provided sterile. Do not re-sterilize.
Do not re-use.

DESCRIPCIÓN
El sistema de reparación meniscal TRUESPAN
formado por un aplicador precargado estéril y
desechable con un conjunto receptor y una aguja.
El aplicador introduce el conjunto receptor en el
menisco. El conjunto receptor está formado por
suturas y dos implantes moldeados. Las suturas y los
implantes acercan o fijan el tejido blando del menisco.
Junto con el sistema se usan un retractor de injerto
maleable, o una cánula ranurada, y un empujador/
cortador artroscópico. Este instrumental es general y
se vende por separado.
