9.2.1 Adjusting the setpoint
To display the set temperature (setpoint):
Press [SeT] key.
To leave the setpoint display:
Press the [SeT] key again
or wait 15 seconds.
To change the setpoint: Press the
[SeT] key for at least 3 sec. The setpoint is
shown on the display and the °C/°F LED sym-
bol flashes.
To raise the setpoint: Press the
[UP] key.
To lower the setpoint: Press the
[DOWn] key.
To add a new entry:
Wait 15 sec. or press the [SeT] key again.
9.2.2 Assigning the bus address
The cabinets must be networked with an appropriate
bus cable before address assignment. A terminator
must be fitted for the last participant. The controller is
supplied as standard with bus address "1" ( = a stand-
alone cabinet). The bus addresses must be assigned
starting with 1 to identify several cabinets in the bus
system. We recommend then entering the addresses
according to the actual wiring sequence. A maximum
of 247 addresses are possible.
note
• The following applies for networked cabinets in the
bus system: bus address "001" is absolutely essen-
tial. Bus addresses should not be assigned twice.
Procedure for assigning the bus address:
To access the programming level:
1.) Press keys [SeT] and [DOWn] simultaneously for
at least 3 seconds.
Controller for standard compressor:
"Hy" is shown on the display.
The "°C/°F" LED symbol flashes.
Controller for VS compressor:
"rtC" is shown on the display.
The "Fan" symbol flashes.
2.) Press keys [SeT] and [DOWn] again for at least 7
seconds.
"Pr2" and "Hy" appear briefly in sequence on
the display.
3.) Press the [DOWn] key until
"Adr" appears on the display.
4.) Press [SeT] key.
The set bus address is shown on the display
(default bus address is 1).
To assign a bus address:
5.) To assign a higher bus address: press the
[UP]key.
To assign a lower bus address: press the
[DOWn]key.
6.) To accept the input:
press the [SeT] key once.
To quit the programming level
7.) Press [SeT] and [UP] simultaneously or wait 15
seconds.
9.2.3 Defrosting (automatic, manual)
Defrosting starts automatically.
"deF" appears on the display.
Defrosting can also be started manually if required.
Procedure for manual defrosting
Press the [DEFROST] key for at least 2 seconds.
" deF" is shown on the display.
LED symbol "
" appears.
9.2.4 Fault display and acknowledge-
ment
Alarm display:
An error code* is displayed in alternation with the
temperature.
There is also the option of outputting an acoustic
signal through an additional installed buzzer.
Fault acknowledgement
Acoustic alarm (if connected).
Press any key briefly.
Fault code can NOT be acknowledged.
The error code appears (in alternation with the
temperature) until the error is resolved.
