11. Defrosting is complete.
(Actual value on the cabinet is active.)
12. Monitor the internal temperature until the
required value (adjustment period: 1-2 hours) is
displayed again.
13. Product can be stored again.
11.3 Cleaning
WARNING
Risk caused by electric shock and refriger-
ant leakage
The hot steam of a steam cleaner and the
high water pressure of a high-pressure
cleaner may destroy electrical insulation and
electronic devices and damage the refriger-
ant circuit.
➤ Do not use steam or high-pressure equip-
ment for cleaning.
CAUTION
Risk of injury from sharp edges
Sharp edges on the cabinet may cause cuts
to the hands.
➤ It is absolutely imperative for you to wear
protective gloves.
notes
• In order to prevent the cabinet being damaged,
please do not use abrasive, chemically aggressive or
easily flammable cleaning agents for cleaning.
• AHT recommends cleaning the cabinet surfaces
using a clean, damp cloth or with slightly alkaline
cleaning agents (e.g. neutral soap and water) for
large amounts of dirt.
• The OUTSIDE glass surfaces can be cleaned with
commercial window cleaners, but contact with plas-
tic surfaces should be avoided. The INSIDE of the
glass doors has a special anti-fog/anti-frost coating
and should only be cleaned using special detergents
available from the AHT service partner.
11.3.1 Cleaning the condenser
note
• The condenser must only be cleaned by an AHT-
trained and authorised specialist.
Cleaning frequency: At least once a year
Follow the separate cleaning manual.
12. Interior lighting
12.1 Cabinet with LeD bars
note
• Only the authorised AHT service partner is allowed to
change the LED bars.
13. Taking the cabinet out of
service for longer periods
If the cabinet is decommissioned for an extended pe-
riod of time, the following procedure should be taken:
1. Remove all products.
2. Switch off the cabinet. If it has an electronic tem-
perature controller, disconnect the cabinet from the
bus system first (contact the bus system administra-
tor).
note
• Remember that disconnecting the mains plug on
cabinets with electronic temperature controllers can
lead to faults in the bus system.
3. Open the doors and let the cabinet come to room
temperature. The cabinet can then be cleaned.
4. Leave the doors slightly ajar (approx. 2-3 cm). The
ventilation prevents the formation of odours and
spores in the interior.
note
• The cabinet must not be exposed to direct sunlight
when the doors are closed. The cabinet may be dam-
aged by high internal temperatures.
14. Disposal
CAUTION
Dispose of the cabinet properly in accor-
dance with the applicable national disposal
provisions (e.g. WEEE within the EU) and the
provisions of the local disposal partner.
➤ Please pay particular attention to ensur-
ing that the refrigerant and the heat in-
sulation material (polyurethane foam with
pentane) are disposed of in a safe and en-
vironmentally friendly manner.
➤ Please ensure that the tubes in the cabinet
are not damaged during disposal.
