PREPARING THE MACHINE

6.1

Moving the packaged machine

The machine is contained in specific packing (box + pallet) with a platform so that it can be moved by a fork-lift.
Total weight is 160 kg (without batteries).
Packing dimensions are:
Lenght:
mm 1200
Width:
mm 800
Height:
mm 1550
The fork lift or the transpallet have to pick up the pallet at the center, the item has to be moved very carefully
without crash and paying attention to lift it up over the reasonable height. Packing crates cannot be stacked.
6.2

How to unpack the machine

1. Remove the blade with suitable nippers paying attention to its elastic return;
2. Remove the outer packing lifting. The machine is fastened to its platform by wedges that clamp its wheels and with a
polyethylene blade;
3. Lift up scrubber group and squeegee;
4. Use the ramp that you will find in tha packaging to lower the machine off the platform, pushing it in reverse;
5. Keep the platform since it may be necessary to transport the machine again.
6.3
Putting the batteries in the machine
The batteries must be housed in the battery compartment below the solution tank and must be handled using special
hoisting equipment suitable both for the weight and for the hooking system.
Strictly comply with the instructions given by the battery manufacturer or retailer regarding battery maintenance
75 - C62 (2S)
and daily recharging. All installation and maintenance procedures must be carried out by specialists.All the
recharging operations must be carried in well-aired places, far from heat sources.

Recharge of batteries
In order not to cause the risk of permanent damage to the batteries, one should at all costs avoid their complete
1590
discharge and effect recharging within a few minutes after that the signal lamp of discharged batteries begins to blink.
Never leave the batteries completely discharged, even if the machine is not being used. Do not leave one
193
battery to discharge separately from the other. Every 10 recharging operations check the level of the electrolyte
and, if necessary, top up with distilled water. Fill up each batterie cell only after charging. After the filling up
replace and screw the batteries caps
V02
When you manipolate batteries always wear safety cloth according to the currently laws. In particular,
before manipulating batteries, take off all metallic objects such as rings, necklace and watches from
hands, wrists and neck. Do not lean metallic objects on the batteries.
