5. Unscrew the two battery cover screws on the
back of the instrument.

6. Proceed to Section 3, Operation.

CAUTION

Do not handle the sensor unnecessarily
during calibration or use. Body heat can
cause the sensor's thermistor to change
disproportionately to the change in gas
sample temperature at the sensing electrode.
This can produce some error until thermal
equilibrium is restored.
