5.8.2 Operation of SMAW (DC)
After connecting the cables and wires of the machine according to above figure, clamp the workpiece and the
proper electrode with the work clamp and electrode holder respectively. After making sure that all are correctly
installed, close the power switch to start the machine. If the welding mode is not pointing to "DC MMA", press the
key in the welding mode selecting zone on the front panel of the machine to select "
