This requirement also describes a standard compressor package execution from

Standard crankcase heater
Additional crankcase heater (600W) mounted in side cover.
Note: Both heaters controlled with thermostat set at 60°C (for Grasso 5HP
only)
3 x sensors for suction, discharge and oil temperature measurement
Oil return protection
Non return valve placed after the oil separator (loose supplied for correct posi-
tion in discharge line)
insulation of the oil separator (by others)
Insulation and trace heating of the heat pump dry suction line
1 x sensor for suction line temperature measurement
A) Use control valves to decrease the heat pump evaporating temperature
during standstill.
• During start up pressure increase allowed to reach heat pump operating
conditions and prevent liquid built up is: 1.5 K/min.
B) (general recommended) Raise the machine room temperature or place
insulation around the compressor body to increase the compressor body tem-
perature. For some operating conditions an insulated enclosure with ventila-
tion may be required.
