Hummus
Ingredients:
3 cups cooked or canned chickpeas
3 garlic cloves, peeled, smashed
½ a cup of extra-virgin olive oil
3 tablespoons tahini paste
4 tablespoons fresh lemon Juice
1 teaspoon sea salt
Freshly ground white pepper to taste
Directions:
1. If necessary, drain cooking liquid from chickpeas.
2. Add chickpeas and all remaining ingredients to blender and pulse for
1 minute.
3. Blend on Soup setting for about 2 minutes, until hummus reaches desired
consistency. Use Plunger as needed.

Tip:
If you want to add extra flavor to your hummus, add one or more of the following
ingredients: 2 tablespoons yogurt, cayenne pepper, sumac, paprika, ras el
hanout, or your favorite finely chopped herbs.
