4.3.2 WEEKLY CLEANING
Clean up the display unit at least once a week, along with a complete defrosting (switching the display unit
off until the ice in the tank has completely melted).
- Remove the ice-cream tubs and corresponding supports. Clean them using warm water.
- Clean the inside of the tub, taking care not to use too much warm water as this could damage the electrical
- Dry the inside of the tub using a clean cloth.
NOTE!
Always use a tiny amount of water and dry thoroughly.
Never clean the display unit using direct jets of water.
Never use pure alcohol or other cleaning products for outer surfaces.
4.3.3 CLEANING THE ALVEOLAR CONVEYOR
(PASTRY VERSION ONLY)
In pastry display units, the air supply is regulated by
an alveolar conveyor.
The conveyor can be removed by loosening the two
side screws using a coin (Fig.30b).
4.3.4 CLEANING THE COLD/HOT AND DRY HOT
VERSIONS
On Hot/Cold and Dry Hot display units, the display
surface can be opened with the aid of gas springs.
Before opening it, remove the seals along the side
panels (Fig. 30c).
