Installation

Location of the diode splitter
Choose a dry place well away from any heat source. Position the diode splitter as central
as possible between the batteries, the alternator and the battery charger.
Do not place the diode splitter immediately above a battery; sulphur fumes from the bat-
tery can damage the electronic components.
Do not mount the diode splitter on engine!

Extensions:
9 Battery charger charges 2 batteries via diode splitter 1252.
10 Battery charger charges 3 batteries via diode splitter 1253.
11 Battery charger with built-in dual diode splitter charges 2 batteries via built-in
diode splitter.
12 Battery charger with built-in dual diode splitter charges 3 batteries via diode
splitter 1253, the built-in diode splitter is not used.
13 Battery charger with built-in dual diode splitter charges 2 batteries via diode
splitter 1252 and 1 battery via built-in diode splitter.
14 Installation with an ammeter to indicate charge current, an ammeter to indicate
discharge current and a voltmeter.
