7. HanDling – REscuE
(Manual lift)
1. Take the equipment out of the bag and be extremely careful not to drop any
accessories. Affix the equipment to an anchor point at least one metre above
the person. The anchor point must have a strength of at least 1200 kg respec-
tively (12 kN) in compliance with EN 795. See local regulations/legislation.
iMPoRtant: the rescuer must be secured with personal fall protection equipment!
2. Attach the rescue lanyard's snap hook onto the distressed person's har-
ness or on the equipment with a fish hook, depending on the situation (see
Chapter 8 - Accessories).
