INtENdEd usE

rEsq dd™ rescue and evacuation equipment may only be used by persons who have
been trained in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. The rescue equipment
is used for rescuing and evacuation from places such as windfarms, cranes, bridges,
buildings, roofs or radio masts, where there are no other practical means at hand.
The equipment should be accessible as "stationary equipment" at relevant places or
taken along as "mobile equipment" for installation personnel, etc.
In cases where several persons need to be lowered at once the weight of the evacuees
must be distributed to minimise the max load and/or prevent it from being exceeded.
If necessary the equipment can also be used to lift up persons in emergency situations,
for example, when other fall protection equipment needs to be freed-up.
The equipment may only be used for rescuing and evacuation, and not as fall protection
equipment or as a general lifting device.
The equipment may only be used with approved components in compliance with EN,
aNsI, csa or the equivalent.
