7. rEsq dd™ is now returned to automatic lanyard arrestor mode. When the
force in the lanyard feed is released the evacuee will be lowered.
If the descent speed has to be further reduced in consideration of the evacuee's
condition, gloves are to be used to gently squeeze the lanyard feed.
Follow the instructions in chapter 6 - Handling – evacuation (automatic descent)
Important: Methodology based training with ResQ DD may only be conducted by Cresto
and/or Cresto-trained and certified instructors.
