Drive Control
Referto the FinalAdiustmentsectionof theAssemblyinstructionsto
adiustthe drivecontrol To furthercheckthe adiustment,proceedas
follows:
1, With thesnow throwertippedforward (be certainto drain gasoline
or placeplasticfilm underthe gascap if thesnow throwerhas
alreadybeen operated),removetheframe coverunderneaththe
snowthrowerby removingthe selfqappingscrews,See Figure19,
2, With thedrk_econtrolreleased,theremust be 1/8" clearance
betweenthe frictionwheeland the driveplatein all positionsof the
shift lever,
3, With thedrive controlengaged,the frictionwheelmustcontactthe
driveplate,See Figure22,
4, If adiustmentis necessary,loosenthe lowerhexnuton the drive
cableindexbracketand pivot the bracketupwardor downwardas
necessary,Referto Figure10 on page9, Tightenthe lowerhexnut
to securethe bracketwhencorrectadiustmentis reached,
5, Reassemble the framecover andturn the unit backto its operating
position,
NOTE:If youplacedplasticunderthe gas cap,be certainto removeit
now,
