Skid Shoe
The space betweenthis skid shoesand the groundcanbe adiusted,

Forsnow removalon a roughsurfacesuch as a grave[driveway,
lowerthe skid shoeson the auger housing,
To adiustskid shoes:
1, Placea blockof wood (2 x 4) beneaththeshave platetotemporar-
ily raisethe snowthrower'shousingoff theground,See Figure11,
2, Loosenthe four hexnuts (two on eachside) and carriagebolts,
Moveskid shoesto desiredposition,See Figure12,
3, Retightennutsand boltssecurely,
4, Carefullyremovethe block,Makecertain theentire bottomsurface
of skid shoeis againstthe groundto avoidunevenwearon the skid
shoes,Readiustif necessary,
IMPORTANT: i t is notrecommended that youoperatethis snow
throweron grave[as loosegrave[can be easilypicked up and thrown
by theauger causingpersona[[niury or damageto the snowthrower,
if forsome reason,youhaveto operatethe snow throweron gravel,
keepthe skid shoein the highestpositionfor maximum clearance
betweenthe groundand the shaveplate,
Tire
Pressure

Tires}
The tires are overqnfiated for shippingpurposes,Checkthe tire
pressurebeforeoperatingthe snow thrower,Referto the tireside wail
for tire manufacturer's recommendedpsiand deflate (or inflate)the
tires as necessary,
NOTE:If thetire pressureis notequal in bothtires,the unit may puI[
to one side or the otherand the shaveplatewiI[notsit [eve[on the
