6.8 ADJUSTMENTS

6.8.1 Adjusting the drive clutch

Free travel for the clutch pedal should be around 1/3. When this travel
decreases, adjust the pedal by slackening off nut (1, fig. 25).

6.8.2 Adjusting the PTO clutch

When the free travel is less than required, adjust the clutch by increasing the
length of the link rod (1, fig. 27).

6.8.3 Brake adjustment

When one of the rear wheels displays different braking conditions than the other
or when there is too much free travel in the brake pedals, register the brakes by
loosening nut n.1 fig.26 and adjust with link rod n.2 until the required adjustment
has been made. Tighten home nut n.1.
When the parking brake lever does not hold the tractor sufficiently, reduce free
travel by screwing in nut n.3 fig.26.
