Bus cable specification
The nodes on the bus system have to be wired to each other by a fieldbus cable ˘ a DeviceNet
thick or thin cable ˘ in accordance with the DeviceNet specification (DeviceNet adaption of
CIP, edition 1.1, volume 3). Manufacturers of DeviceNet thick and thin cables are for
instance Belden Inc., Lapp, C&M Corp., and Madison Cable Corp.

Note!
If you do not want to use the thick or thin cables, the cable to be used must
meet the requirements of the DeviceNet specification.
Detailed information on this can be found in the E94AYCDN communication
manual (DeviceNet).
A cable deviating from the requirements of the DeviceNet specification must
not be used!
