[0]-[1] Future use
Microphone select - Enter 0 - 5 to toggle (enable or disable depending on the

previous state) the associated microphone. This allows the central station operator
to deselect undesirable microphone inputs. Selecting 0 turns all inputs off. Selecting
5 turns all inputs on. Selecting 1 - 4 toggles the corresponding microphone.
Zone select 001 - 128 - Enter a 3-digit zone number (001-128) after entering this key
[3]
to activate a microphone input associated with the zone for a listen-in session. If the
selected zone does not have microphone input, the function is canceled and the
module reverts to the previous state.
Increment selected microphone - Selects the next enabled microphone in the
[4]
sequence.
Decrement selected microphone - Selects the previous enabled microphone in the
[5]
sequence.
Audio capture playback - Plays back up to 16 seconds of pre- alarm audio
[6]
followed by 105 seconds to 4 minutes of post-alarm audio, programmed in Section
[616]. The module will sound the end tone and return to "Talk to All Stations"
mode.
NOTE: The central station cannot terminate the playback, the entire audio must be
played.
[7]-[9] Future use

4.7 Operator tones

The tones generated by the HSM2955(R), while in two-way, are as follows:
Start tone (3 high tones) - sounds when audio session begins.
End tone (3 high tones) - sounds when audio session ends.
Subsequent alarm tone (alternating high- low- high- low tone) - indicates a new alarm during an
audio session, it is generated once per session. This tone will only sound if Section [022] Option 6
is enabled. If disabled the session is disconnected.
Subsequent fire alarm tone (high- low- high tone) - indicates a fire alarm during a 2- way audio
session. This tone will only sound if Section [022] Option 6 is enabled and will be generated for
each subsequent fire alarm event. If disabled the session is disconnected.
20-second reminder tone (1 high tone) - 20 seconds remaining in the audio session.
10-second reminder tone (1 low tone) - 10 seconds remaining in the audio session.
1 beep - audio capture playback has ended.

5. Programming

5.1 HSM2955(R) programming

If programming the HSM2955(R) via DLS, select HSM2955(R) for the correct programming options.
If programming from the panel, enter [*][8][Installer Code][802] on the system keypad followed by
the 3-digit sub-section (listed below) to program options.
[001]-[128] zone station assignment
The 2-way audio stations can be assigned to zones 001-128. If station 1 is assigned to zone 001 and
an alarm occurs, station 1 will activate. The central station operator can listen and talk using station
1 and is able to play audio through a PSTN or cellular connection.
[600] 2-way audio trigger options
The options below initiate a 90 second 2-way audio session with the central monitoring station. An
audio recording is also initiated if Audio Capture [605] is enabled.
