Do not use a hair dryer for drying! Wet filters will be damaged if used for
vacuuming!
4. Assemble cleaned or new components and install them in the original
location using the reverse procedure.
Note: Wet cleaning can cause more wear and tear of the filter, and
a correspondingly shorter service life. If the vacuum cleaner does not
perform with the original suction power, the filters should be replaced with
new ones.
CHECKING AND REPLACING THE AIR OUTLET FILTER
Press and o pen the air outlet grid at the rear section of the vacuum cleaner

(see Fig. 8).

Remove the filter.

The filter can be cleaned by tapping or shaking it. If the filter is extremely
dirty, it can be washed in lukewarm water. Let the filter dry completely
before using it again.

Insert a cleaned or new air outlet filter, and close the air outlet grid.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The vacuum cleaner and its accessories can be cleaned with a wet cloth.
Do not immerse the power cord, plug, or appliance in water or any other liquid.
Do not use aggressive substances for cleaning, such as solvents or abrasives!
TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
Motor does not run.
Motor has stopped
operating.
Reduced suction power
Vacuum cleaner heats up

Cause
Plug inserted into the
mains outlet incorrectly or
insufficiently.
The mains outlet is not live.
Improper or insufficient air
flow. Motor overheating
fuse activated.
Dust bin full or clogged.
The filters are clogged
Clogged nozzle, tube, or
hose.
Slight heating of the vacuum cleaner is normal and cannot be considered
a failure.

Solution
Check the plug connection.
Check for voltage, e.g. by connecting
another appliance.
Disconnect the cable from the socket.
Check and release the air suction
and discharge holes; check the filter's
cleanliness and/or replace the dust bag.
Let the vacuum cleaner cool down.
Empty and clean the dust bin.
Clean or replace the filters.
Check and clear the air passage on the
suction and discharge sides.
