1.20.1 bL : Shutdown due to low water level

In conditions of zero flow the system switches off the pump. If the control pressure is below the set value, a
low water level signal is supplied.
If, by mistake, a pressure set-point is set higher than the maximum pressure that the electric pump can
supply, the system indicates "shutdown due to low water level" (bL) even if there is effectively no lack of
water. Then you must lower the shutdown pressure to a reasonable value, which normally does not exceed
2/3 of the head of the installed electric pump.

1.20.2 bP : Shutdown due to fault of the pressure sensor

If the inverter is unable to detect the presence of the pressure sensor, the electric pump remains blocked and
the error signal "bP" is given. This status begins as soon as the problem is detected and ends automatically 10
seconds after correct conditions have been restored.

1.20.3 LP-E1 : Shutdown due to low supply voltage

If the line voltage falls by 20% of the rated value, the inverter shuts down due to the low line voltage status.
Normal conditions are restored automatically when the voltage on the terminal exceeds the rated voltage
value – 15%. If the wiring is not suitably sized, this shutdown may occur when the electric pump is started
even if higher voltages are measured with the machine in stand-by mode.

1.20.4 HP : Shutdown due to high supply voltage

If the line voltage increases excessively with respect to the rated value, the inverter shuts down due to the
high line voltage status. Normal conditions are restored automatically when the voltage on the terminal
returns to normal values.

1.20.5 SC : Shutdown due to direct short circuit between the phases of the output terminal

The inverter is equipped with protection against the direct short circuit which may occur between the phases
U, V, W of the "PUMP" output terminal. When this block status is indicated, you are advised to eliminate the
short circuit and to check the wiring carefully to ensure it is intact and the installation in general. Once these
checks have been made you can try to reset operation by simultaneously pressing the + and – keys; in any
event, this will have no effect until 10 seconds have passed from the moment in which the short circuit
occurred. Whenever a short circuit occurs, an event counter is increased and saved in the permanent memory
(EEPROM).
AFTER THE HUNDREDTH SHORT CIRCUIT THE MACHINE BLOCKS PERMANENTLY AND
IT WILL NO LONGER BE POSSIBLE TO UNBLOCK IT!

1.20.6 MANUAL RESET of error condition

In error status the operator can reset the error by forcing a new attempt, pressing the "+" and "–" keys
simultaneously.

1.20.7 Self-reset of error conditions

For some malfunctions and block conditions, the system makes attempts at automatic reset of the electric
pump. The following table shows the sequences of the operations performed by the ACTIVE DRIVER for
the different types of shutdown.
