Changing Your Kube's Filters

By-pass Your Kube
Turn the blue by-pass knob
until the white indicator
points to the by-pass
icon
.

Remove Filters
Remove exhausted cartridges by twisting
them counterclockwise and then pulling
them straight out. The cartridges will not
come out unless the knob is turned to
by-pass and the tabs are aligned. They
should be easy to remove—
don't force them. Keep
both cartridges upright
after removal from
the system to prevent
water from pouring out.
Place used cartridges in
the sink to drain.

Empty Tray
Slide the bottom tray out and
empty it in the sink. Replace
the tray into system.
Remember to empty the tray
after every filter change as
well as each time you put the
Kube into by-pass mode.

Install New Filters
To install your new filters, align the tabs on
the cartridge body with the tab holes on
the face of the Kube. Fully insert cartridge
and then twist clockwise to lock in place.
The raised area on the cartridge cap
should be lined up with the lock icon

both cartridges are completely installed.

Open
Your Faucet
Turn on the cold
water at your faucet.

Put Your Kube to Work
Turn the blue by-pass knob
until the white indicator points
to the filtered water icon

The knob will not turn
unless both cartridges
are completely installed.

Flush Cold Water
Let water continue to run out
of faucet for about five minutes
to activate your filter cartridges.
After five minutes turn off your
faucet. Wait 10 minutes and then
turn the cold water back on for
another 3 minutes. After 3 minutes
turn off your faucet.
