Making Coffee with a Preset Time
1. Prepare the coffee machine, pour in water, insert the permanent fi lter (16), pour in coffee
powder (see the previous chapter) and place the to-go coffee cup (14) or another suitable
vessel under the coffee outlet (4).
2. Press the Timer button (13). The timer time set most recently (presetting 12:00) and the
PROGRAM symbol appears on the display (9).
3. Use the Std (hrs) (12) and Min (8) buttons to set the start time you want (see the "Hand-
ling and Operation" chapter | "Time").
4. If no other button is pressed for around 3 seconds, the preset time is activated and the
PROGRAM symbol goes out and the AUTO symbol appears on the display. In addition,
the green operating lamp (11) lights up.
Once the preset time is reached, the device switches on automatically. On the display the
AUTO symbol goes out and the
out and the red operating lamp (10) fl ashes.
Deactivating the Preset Time
To deactivate the preset time which is set again, hold down the TIMER button (13) for approx.
10 seconds until the AUTO symbol goes out on the display. The green operating lamp (11)
goes out and the programming is deactivated. However, the preset time is saved until a new
time is programmed in or the device has been disconnected from the power supply.
The previously set time can be reactivated by pressing the TIMER button.
Cleaning and Care
NOTE
•
Do not use any toxic, corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents or scouring sponges to
clean the device. These can damage the surface.
1. Clean the permanent fi lter (16), the fi lter insert (17) and the to-go coffee cup (14) after
every use with mild detergent and warm water or in the dishwasher.
2. Wipe out and wipe down the housing with a damp cloth. If necessary, use a little mild
detergent to remove more intense soiling.
3. Check the mains cable regularly for any damage.
