Ceramic Cartridges
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
REFER TO PAGE 25 FOR DRAWING ILLUSTRATION.
1. To install right hand cartridge, insert cartridge into body until it seats. Place cap nut over stem
and tighten hand tight.
2. Rotate to closed position. Add handle and rotate counter clockwise to desired position. Using
handle or suitable tool, fully tighten cap nut to 25 ft. lbs. while maintaining stem position.
3. To install left hand cartridge, insert cartridge into body until it seats. Place cap nut over stem
and tighten hand tight.
4. Rotate to open position. Add handle and rotate counter clockwise to desired "open" position.
5. Using handle or suitable tool, fully tighten cap nut to 25 ft. lbs. while maintaining stem position.
NOTE: Right hand ceramic cartridges have a stem groove.
