VOLTAGE ABSENCE TESTING

1.- Place the voltage detector at the end of an insulated
pole suitable for the voltage range and with a universal
head (3).
2.- Push the on/test button (4) to turn the detector into
alert mode, green LED on.
3.- Place the electrode (1) of the detector in contact
with the conductor to be checked.
Test results:
VOLTAGE PRESENCE
Red LED and buzzer activated (5 and 7).
VOLTAGE ABSENCE
The detector remains in alert mode, green LED (6).
In case of the result being "voltage absence", the test must
be performed again.
In addition to the self-checking test, it is advisable to check
the "voltage presence" indication on a service voltage supply
before each use.
