3. Ceiling Fan Assembly

Remove and retain the Three #8-32 x 12mm Screws
from the Upper Motor Housing .
Make sure the Grommet is properly installed in the
Coupler Cover, then slide the Coupler Cover on the
Downrod until it rests on the Motor Housing (Figure 11) .
Secure the Coupler Cover by reinstalling the Three
previous removed #8-32 x 12mm Screws .

Place the Ceiling Cover over the Downrod (Figure 12) .
Be sure that the Ceiling Cover and the Coupler Cover
are both oriented correctly (Figure 12) .
3.13
Separate and route the Two 80" Motor Wires through
the Hanger Ball (Figure 13) .
Slide the Hanger Ball on the Downrod .
Locate the previously removed Pin from the Downrod
and insert it into the Holes at the top of the Downrod,
as shown (Figure 13) .
Rotate the Hanger Ball and engage the installed Pin of
the Downrod into the Groove on top of the Hanger Ball
(Figure 13) .
The Motor Wires may cause some interference and it
may take several attempts to push the Pin through both
sides of the Downrod .
