General safety warnings for power tools
WARNING:
Read all warnings and safety instructions. Failure to follow all warnings and instructions can
cause electric shock, re and / or serious injury.
Keep these warnings and instructions for future reference. The term "power tool" in the war-
nings refers to your "Cordless" operated power tool or your "Cordless" battery operated power
tool.
1) WORK AREA
a) Keep the work area clean and well lit. Disorderly and dark areas can cause accidents.
b) Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of ammable
liquids, gases, or dust. Power tools create sparks, which can ignite dust or fumes.
c) Keep children and bystanders away while operating the power tool. Distractions can cause
you to lose control of your equipment.
2) ELECTRICAL SAFETY
to. The power tool's plug must match the outlet. Never modify the plugs for any reason. Do not
use any plug adapter with grounded power tools. Unmodi ed plugs and compatible power
outlets reduce the risk of electric shock.
b. Avoid body contact with grounded surfaces such as: pipes, radiators, ranges, and refrigera-
tors. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is grounded.
c. Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. The ingress of water into power tools
increases the risk of electric shock.
d. Never use the cord to carry, pull, or disconnect the power tool. Keep the cord away from
heat, oil, sharp edges, or moving parts. Tangled or damaged cables increase the risk of electric
shock.
