HOW TO HANDLE A CUP SAW
A metal cup saw is used for large diameter holes and blind holes. In this case, use the optional
metal cup saw accessories (such as drill bit and cup saw) for more e cient operation.
1. Assembly
CAUTION: Before mounting a metal cup saw, always disconnect the plug from the wall outlet.
(1) Mounting the cup saw on the chuck. (Fig 10) Lubricate the threads of the metal cup saw
stem to facilitate removal.
(2) Mount the metal cup saw on the main body in the same way as the drill bit was mounted.
(Fig 11).
(3) Adjust the bit by aligning the screw with the tip of the metal cup saw. When the position of
the concave part is displaced by turning the bit clockwise, the bit never slips out even when
the hammer is used in a downward direction (Fig. 12). Insert the bit aligning the threaded sec-
tion with the saw blade. When the concave position of the bit is turned clockwise, the bit never
slips even when used in the down position.
2. Drilling holes
(1) Connect the plug to the power source.
(2) Press the drill bit straight and gently on the surface of the wall or on the oor, the entire sur-
face of the metal cup saw comes into contact to start the work of drilling the hole (Fig. 13).
